We are now one month into the 2024 NFL season. Rookie players are starting to show what they are capable of and that includes the players Green Bay Packers GM Brian Gutekunst selected in this year’s draft class. Already, injuries have been a factor. Here is a look at how the Packers 2024 draft class has fared after one month:

How the Packers 2024 Draft Class Has Fared After One Month: Round 7, CB Kalen King

Cornerback Kalen King started training camp with great promise and showed some flashes of ability, but he lacked consistency. He is presently on the Packers practice squad but has yet to appear in a regular season game.

Round 7: QB Michael Pratt

The Packers released Michael Pratt after the preseason was over. He outplayed Sean Clifford but still struggled at times to run the offense. He is presently on the Tampa Bay practice squad.

How the Packers 2024 Draft Class Has Fared After One Month: Round 6 OL Travis Glover

Travis Glover made the 53-man roster but has yet to take a snap in any of the four games. Right now, he is on the roster to learn and provide depth along the offensive line. He will likely see action on special teams before he plays on offense this season.

Round 5: DB Kitan Oladapo

Kitan Oladapo has played in one game thus far this season, Week 1 against the Eagles in Brazil. The former Oregon State star played six snaps on special teams but none yet on defense.

Oladapo missed part of training camp on the non-football injury list, so he has been playing catch up since then. The Packers remain high on his potential.

How the Packers 2024 Draft Class Has Fared After One Month: Round 5 OL Jacob Monk

Fifth-round pick Jacob Monk has played in all four games this season for the Packers but has seen action exclusively on special teams. Monk has the versatility the Packers prefer in their offensive lineman and can play multiple positions. Barring injuries, he will likely play on special teams for most of this season.

Round 4: S Evan Williams

Evan Williams looked very promising in training camp and in the preseason. He clearly demonstrated the potential to play a role on defense as soon as he masters the playbook and gets more comfortable in the NFL.

Williams has played in all four games thus far, playing 34 snaps on defense and 55 on special teams. He made his first career NFL interception in Week 2 which clinched the Packers win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Look for Williams to play a larger role on defense as the season progresses. He may even sub in for a linebacker on obvious passing downs.

How the Packers 2024 Draft Class Has Fared After One Month: Round 3 LB Ty’Ron Hopper

Ty’Ron Hopper has played in all four games but has yet to take a defensive snap. He showed potential in the preseason to make an impact and proved he can hit, but the Packers are bringing their young linebackers along slowly.

Hopefully by the end of the season, Hopper will earn some playing time on defense and see his role expanded.

Round 3: RB MarShawn Lloyd

Injuries have slowed the progress of running back MarShawn Lloyd. The former USC star missed time in training camp due to an assortment of injuries and sat out the season opener while he recovered.

He made his NFL debut against the Colts and carried six times for 15 yards while catching one pass for three yards. He then landed on IR and must sit out four total games before he is eligible to return to the active roster.

The coaching staff loves the speed and cutback ability Lloyd possesses but he needs to stay healthy and to improve his pass protection and blitz pickup to carve out a bigger role in the offense behind Josh Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson.

How the Packers 2024 Draft Class Has Fared After One Month: Round 2 S Javon Bullard

Javon Bullard has made his presence felt thus far in his rookie campaign. The second-round pick out of Georgia has started all four games and made 20 total tackles including one tackle for loss. Bullard has also broken up one pass. He’s been on the field for 88 percent of the Packers defensive snaps plus time on special teams.

Bullard can hit and plays well in the box. He needs to improve his pass coverage. While it’s a small sample size, he’s allowed opposing quarterbacks to complete 80 percent of their passes when they throw to receivers covered by Bullard according to Pro-football-reference.com.

Bullard shows versatility and promise after his first month in the NFL.

Round 2: LB Edgerrin Cooper

Edgerrin Cooper hasn’t started a game yet, but he’s certainly made an impact on defense. The Texas A&M alum has half a sack, one fumble recovery and 13 total tackles including one tackle for loss through four games.

Cooper can blitz the quarterback and has the speed to stay with running backs going out in pass patterns. He has played 22 percent of the team’s defensive snaps this season but should see that number increase as Quay Walker and Isaiah McDuffie continue to struggle while remaining ahead of Cooper on the depth chart.

How the Packers 2024 Draft Class Has Fared After One Month: Round One, G Jordan Morgan

First round pick Jordan Morgan battled Sean Rhyan for the starting right guard spot. Matt LaFleur determined that Rhyan would start but the two would alternate series.

In the first two games, Rhyan played 35 percent of the team’s offensive snaps before suffering a shoulder injury that has kept him sidelined since then. They did not place Morgan on the IR.

Morgan has graded out as a better pass blocker than run blocker so far. He is making the adjustment from playing left tackle in college to playing right guard in the NFL. Rhyan has played well in Morgan’s absence so it will be interesting to see how much action the rookie sees when he’s healthy again and ready to play.
