The Green Bay Packers are set to open training camp in less than 10 days. This is the next in a series of articles previewing the Packers position by position, analyzing the talent on the roster and discussing key questions that are facing the team as they begin preparation for the 2026 season. These are three big questions facing the Green Bay Packers at offensive line entering training camp in 2026:

Three Big Questions Facing the Packers at Offensive Line, Number One: Is Jordan Morgan Ready at Left Tackle?
The Packers parted ways with left tackle Rasheed Walker in the belief that former first-round pick, Jordan Morgan, is ready to protect Jordan Love’s blind side.
The Packers spent two seasons cross training Morgan. He played left tackle in college but played every position but center for the Packers in two seasons. He was no more than a serviceable guard but played his best in limited reps at left tackle.
The Packers are hoping Morgan will at least equal Walker as a pass blocker and should be an upgrade as a run blocker.
Morgan’s success holds a big key to the continuity and success of the offensive line. Because of the lack of proven depth, should Morgan falter, the entire offensive line will have to make multiple lineup alterations. The Packers are counting on Morgan to live up to his first-round draft pedigree this season.
Number Two: Is the Interior Offensive Line Good Enough?
All three starters along the interior offensive line have significant questions surrounding their ability to play well enough.
Center Sean Rhyan started last season as the team’s right guard. He was benched for inconsistent play and then made the starting center when Elgton Jenkins was lost for the season due to injury. Rhyan had his struggles but improved as he got more playing time. By the end of the season, he was playing reasonably well. His strength remains his run blocking. Rhyan brings a nasty streak and strength to the position. At center, he should have more help in pass protection with a guard on either side of him.
Starting right guard Anthony Belton took over at right guard after injuries struck the line. He was drafted as a tackle and was not cross trained like Morgan was. Like Rhyan, Belton was not a great starter but got better as the season progressed.
Will Belton be a good enough guard to hold down the starting job? If he isn’t, do the Packers have a player on the bench who would be good enough to take over? Rookie Jager Burton had a strong offseason and may be the first man up at backup center or guard.
Left guard Aaron Banks gives the team a proven starter at the position, but he struggled through an injury-riddled and disappointing 2025. The Packers hope Banks can stay healthy this season and return to his previous form on the field. If he does, he will be the team’s most stable starter along the interior offensive line.
Three Big Questions Facing the Packers at Offensive Line, Number Three: Can Zach Tom Return to Form?
Zach Tom has been graded as the Packers best offensive lineman in each of the last two seasons. The starting right tackle may be undersized for the position, but uses his football intelligence, technique and footwork to be play at a Pro Bowl level. Tom not only does a good job protecting Jordan Love but has earned the highest run blocking grades of any Packers offensive lineman as well.
Tom suffered a season-ending partially torn patellar tendon injury in December. Tom declared that he expects to be ready to play in Week 1 and that is huge for the Packers.
Having your best lineman back in the lineup and healthy will have a big impact on the Packers offense. The Packers will need Tom to return to form in 2026. If he is unavailable, the top backup would be Darian Kinnard.
